Fishermen seek State Dept action over Japanese boats

Seattle Engineer Convicted of Larceny and Perjury

Joseph P. Dodd a King County engineer was convicted today on eleven counts of perjury and ten counts of grand larceny in relation to allegedly fraudulent expense accounts. The jury acquitted one grand larceny count for lack of a warrant. His attorney will seek a new trial and, if denied, an appeal to the State Supreme Court.
