Pangborn outlines New York to Paris hop in flying wing

Clyde Pangborn announced plans for a late July flight from New York to Paris in a Wasp powered, single motor cabin plane with no fuselage and a tail supported by twin booms. The craft, dubbed the flying wing, was built by the late Claire Vance. Pangborn plans stopovers in Spain England and Holland to seek recognition of the Texas Centennial Exposition and said he has no Atlantic speed record aim.
