Nome to Be Terminal Two Star Air Routes Carrying the US Mail

The plan includes thirty two new airports, emergency fields every 100 miles, and expanded air mail service with a total cost near 1.25 million dollars plus 150 thousand for radio installation. routes extend from Ketchikan to Fairbanks to Nome with branch lines. The city may upgrade fire brigades and fields, and the Hammon Consolidated Gold Fields fire engine is to be installed in Nome pending funding. The council also accepted Henry Burghs offer of Nevada social hall for city meetings.
