Four men ambushed a bakery safe in South Seattle early Sunday. one killed, one critically wounded, two others hurt. Police tagged Carl Thomas as ringleader and linked the group to a spate of burglaries since September. Joe O Neal, ex policeman on parole, was among the injured. Acting on a tip, police had guarded the plant since Thursday. the watchman let the quartet in.

5 Cases Scarlet Fever Reported In Fairbanks
