Pilot Chester Brown of Northern Air Transport flew to Deering on Sunday with A V Cordovaabo. Boris Magids traveled from Deering to Kotzebue and James Mills moved from Kotzebue to Nome. The NAT plane is scheduled for another flight north tomorrow.

Nome pilots carry freight and mail between distant camps
Pilot Frank Whaley of Nome Airways flew to Shelton and Rainbow Camp on Sunday with freight. Pilot Robbins in the Pan Fleister plane reached Golovin from Fairbanks with 550 pounds of mail for Nome. Whaley also flew Nome to Golovin with outgoing mail as the ship left for return at about 1 30 P.M. Alfred J. Lomen and L E Rynning of Lomen Commercial Co were among Nome outbound passengers. Arnold Andem and wife, Golovin Lomen store operators, were also outbound. Mrs. Art Peterson returned from Golovin.

Mirow Air Service returns from Kotzebue with passengers and goods
Pilot Hans Mirow returned Sunday from Kotzebue with Mrs. Fred Bourdon onboard Mirow Air Service. Gene Comer rode as a passenger from Candle to Nome. The flight carried 300 pounds of shea fish and fur. Today Mirow flew to Teller with a native child and two native women for further transport.

Plane tests ice landing near Nome on return flight
A Lockheed aircraft of the Mirov Air Service is to land tomorrow on Bering Sea ice in front of Nome at a natural field used as a test site this fall. A ski landing gear will be installed on the ship to enable the ice landing.

Nome Boy Scouts begin selling Christmas seals to fund the Alaska Tuberculosis Association. Dr W W Council chairs the Alaska Tuberculosis Committee and E W Griffin leads the Seal Sale Committee in Juneau. Buy seals to help protect homes from tuberculosis. several thousand seals were sent from Juneau for local distribution. When a scout visits, give him a helping hand.
