Alaska Airmail Service In Cross Border Talks For October

Canada and the United States will meet in October to settle Alaska air mail control over gold, platinum and furs shipments. Some Features Court Measure Still Objective

Victoria of Alaska Line Touched East Cape on Cruise

Victoria arrived in port this morning to load outgoing passengers and depart for Seattle at 9 30 AM. The ship listed additional travelers Harry Phillips Geo Madsen and Harry Davis and will visit Pribiloff Island Dutch Harbor False Pass Land Point Juneau Ketchikan and Seattle before heading to East Cape Siberia. A Soviet gunboat stopped alongside at East Cape and, after reviewing papers, approved passenger landings for a visit to Soviet territory.
