Jeffrey Pope and Sheldon Taylor arrived in Nome this morning after a year and a half voyage from New York City to Nome via lakes and rivers across Ottawa Northwest Territory and Alaska. They paddled and sailed the entire way with 136 miles in one 24 hour stretch on the Mackenzie River.
