German broadcasts report fast eastward advances after Warsaw fall with Praga and Slorok captured as Russians retreat. Zepplin raids on Britain's east coast kill fourteen and wound equal number. one air ship destroyed by Allied anti aircraft fire.
Berlin reports the anti-war movement in France is daily growing as citizens demand end to the conflict through peace with Germany. Demonstrations occur nationwide and the press denounces Britain’s stance while the French government suppresses seventeen papers for anti war articles.
Berlin reports that Allied heavy offensives since Sunday yielded no gains and enemy charges were repulsed at every point. The fight west of Luneville lasts forty hours with German losses heavy. French lines near Apremont fall back as Germans renew in the Argonne woods. West Dunkirk suffers a 42 centimeter shell bombardment. Italy plans to send 650000 fresh soldiers to Dardanelles or France within three weeks.
German Press Service reports the civil government in Russian Poland is organized with towns in order. Inducements to rebuild destroyed property and industries are offered. Train service Warsaw west is restored and public peace prevails as plans for Polish freedom are prepared for eventual transfer of governance.
