Mrs. McWhinnice visits Kodiak Island orphanage with her daughter and Mrs. Bonney and Miss Rain from Portland Me. They arrive by steamer on Wood Island and are greeted by mission, school and church bells. They assist with barn work and a launch, enjoy island tours, a Norwich gift boat trip, a Salt Lake picnic, and a farewell in Portland.
