Council approves fund spending and discusses dogs and parking
GRAFTON council meeting approved Revenue Sharing Funds totaling 5100,000 for a garbage truck, a police cruiser, health department, recreation commission, and general funds. The panel also raised room rates at Grafton City Hospital to 265, 266, 535 and 5125 per day for ICU care while addressing dog waste and parking near the pool. City Attorney was tasked to draft an ordinance on pet waste modeled after Pittsburgh rules. Public concerns included teen noise near the pool and a proposed one way Railroad Street from Brown Street to Country Club Road with a potential speed bump. Council members defended recreation commission funding and city involvement, noting the commission’s expanded representation and city votes.
