Beginning Tuesday February 1 Equitable Gas requires commercial customers closed over the weekend to limit hours until further notice. Retail outlets should stay open noon to 5 pm with Sunday closure, and those relying on evening hours may operate 6 to 11 pm. Thermostats should drop to 55 to 62 degrees to ease supply strain while residential and commercial service is balanced.
