Estancia Boys Take Second Game In Local Rivalry

The Willard squad lost 3 to 2 to Estancia in front of about 250 fans. Fast play marked the contest with a disputed fair ball in the third inning and strong hitting by Meyer Comer Alderete Luna and Johnson for both sides. The game lasted about one hour and thirty five minutes.

Rattlesnake Bite Hurts Five-Year-Old Near Town

The five year old daughter of J W Morris twelve miles northwest of town was bitten by a rattlesnake last evening. Medical aid arrived after two and a half hours due to distance, despite a sixty five minute drive. After treatment the child was reported as doing as well as could be expected.
