Moriarty Train Wreck Leaves One Dead and Dozens Injured
A Santa Fe Limited passenger train No 3 and light engine No 365 collided on a wooden trestle near Moriarty N M at 10 20 am causing one fatality and many injuries. Engineer J W Green of Las Vegas died after being severely scalded. Fireman W Brennan and Engineer R C Fisher of the Limited were badly hurt with Fisher likely to die. George Selover also of Las Vegas sustained leg and body injuries. The incident injured about sixty five passengers and fifty on the road crew, with the mail clerk unhurt. Both locomotives were demolished.

Cattle Rustlers Nabbed Near Mountainair
