Ennis to Host NP Hearing on Red Bluff Branch Abandonment
The Interstate Commerce Commission shifted the Northern Pacific Railway hearing on abandoning its 21.3 mile Red Bluff branch from Butte to Ennis. MRC Chairman Paul T. Rutledge pleads guilty in drug possession case
Norman Rutledge known as Sonny Miller 22 pleaded guilty in district court to possession of dangerous drugs. Judge John B. McClernan deferred sentencing and retained jurisdiction with the defendant on parole during good behavior. Montana attorney Charles F. Moses has resigned as part time counsel to the Livestock Commission the Livestock Sanitary Board and the Pharmacy Board to avoid the appearance of a conflict.
