Philipsburg man sentenced to 10 years for manslaughter
Roger Philip Baker was sentenced to ten years in the Montana State Penitentiary after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the July 25 shooting death of his wife, Amelia. The charge was reduced from second degree murder on a motion by Granite County Attorney William F. Sheehan. Sheriff Nick Munis will transport Baker to Deer Lodge.
