Butte Ironworker Killed At Concentrator Construction Site
Butte resident Don Julius Boelter, 28, an ironworker for Parsons Construction, was killed Friday afternoon while signaling a crane operator during unloading of reinforcing steel at the new Anaconda Co concentrator plant site in northeast Butte. A bundle weighing about 4,400 pounds struck him as it whipped free from a gondola car, throwing him from the car area.
