Navy Inspection Set for Tonight in Butte
Butte's Naval Reserve Division will undergo a 7 30 p m captain's inspection at the training center in Clark Park conducted by Lt Cmdr C M Ueland USNR commanding officer. Uniform is dress blues with white hats for enlisted men and white cap covers for officers. The unit last competed in April in the 13th Naval District trophy contest and earned third place among 22 surface divisions. A rifle team is being formed with weekly practice at 7 15 p m Mondays on the Naval Reserve range behind the training center. interested members should contact Chief Ray Paxson.

Burglaries in Butte Solved. Loot Recovered
Two suspects Alexander Clemans and George Clemans and their confessions tied them to Sept burglaries at the Montana Laundry and Firestone Store in Butte. Loot valued at about 500 dollars from the laundry and over 2000 dollars from Firestone was recovered, with more items found in a Continental Divide cache. Both men are jailed pending further proceedings.

Retired Miner James Turner Found Dead at Home
James A. Turner about 70 was found dead in his 639 Utah home by friend Patrick Leary. County coroner Dr. Ernett Paulsen said Turner died about 30 hours earlier of natural causes and urged relatives to contact the coroner. A sister Hilda Foster in England is mentioned. Selection of Jury In Car Bomb Trial Advances Slow
Jury selection for the car bomb murder trial of Harry L. Washburn moved slowly with only five jurors chosen at recess. The 38 year old Houston contractor is charged in the slaying of his ex mother in law Mrs Helen Harris Weaver a Texas ranchwoman killed January 19 by an explosive as she tried to start a family car. The defense says Washburn was 400 miles away.
