Marion Miley a nationally known 27 year old golfer was shot to death and her mother Mrs Fred Miley was critically wounded by robbers in their Lexington Country Club apartment just after 4 am. Coroner J Hervey Kerr said Miley was hit by two bullets, one in the back of the head and one in the back. The mother received abdomen wounds and was rushed to St Joseph hospital for emergency surgery.
