Commercial Pilot Killed in Montana Crash
Miles City reports a Boston, Massachusetts commercial pilot Jack Tagen was killed in a Yellowstone River crash shortly after takeoff from Miles City airport. The converted P-38 nosedived at 1000 feet, plunging 12 miles north of town. Tagen, flying for Arrow Service Corp of Philadelphia, was alone and his body was recovered two hours later.
