Joseph Burlovich Taken by Death
Joseph Burlovich 72 died in his home in Opportunity after a long illness. Born December 18, 1882 in Fiume Austria he came to the United States 50 years ago and worked many years at Anaconda Reduction Works retiring in 1953. He was a member of St. Peter Church SS Peter and Paul Society St Joseph Society and the Mill and Smeltermen Union. Surviving are his wife Katherine two sons Rudolph and Joseph Burlovich Jr daughter-in-law and son-in-law Peter and Mary Spritzer two grandsons Thomas and Patrick Spritzer brothers-in-law and sisters John Giguras Ambridge PA John Palakovich Anaconda sister-in-law Mary Domitrovich Anaconda nephew John Burlovich Austria and several nephews and nieces. The Rosary will be recited at Finnegan Co Funeral Home Monday night and the funeral will be Tuesday morning at 8 45 for St Peter Church with solemn requiem mass at 9 burial Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Two Airmen Freed by Reds After East Germany Landing

Two Die After Yacht Collides With Speedboat Off California
In the incident eight miles offshore between Newport Beach and Santa Catalina Island, a speedboat carrying four people was crushed after crossing the bow of the 83-foot yacht Escapade II. Car Fleeing Patrol Crashes in Morgan Hill Head-On
Three men died in a Sunday head-on crash near Morgan Hill California when one car crossed to the wrong side while being pursued by a highway patrolman. The deceased were Philip H. Gutierrez 20 and James Jones 18 both of Morgan Hill and William Kern 65 of Santa Cruz. Patrolman Earl R. Watson said Gutierrez and Jones were speeding and drove into Kern's path on Highway 101 about a mile from Morgan Hill.

Butte Man Escapes Injury After Vehicle Overturns Near Meaderville
A 25-year-old Butte man Donald D. Hepola of 415 N. Arizona escaped with cuts and bruises when his car overturned about 500 feet east of the Meaderville Helena highway junction early Sunday. Highway Patrolman Herb Slack indicated a soft shoulder caused loss of control as the auto rolled several times. Hepola was treated at St. James and released.
