Butte Man Arrested After Hourlong Highway Robbery Rampage
William Stevens, 29, of 3403 Carter Street, was arrested at the Panama house five miles south of the city after a riot call. Police and sheriffs chased and cornered him as he allegedly terrorized residents on Butte's south side forcing a man to disrobe, another to drive, and threatening to kill with a loaded revolver. Veteran Butte police member dies after long service

A letter addressed to his brother Tim Lorden and dated last January was filed for probate as the will of Dennis J. Lorden, dead Sept. 14 in Butte. The document bequeaths over 6000 dollars to a nephew and names Dennis Lorden and Tim Lorden of Chicago as heirs.
