Fulton Missouri September 22 two members of the thirty fifth division air service Missouri National Guard were instantly killed when their plane crashed on a farm four miles east of Fulton. The pilot Lieut Chauncey G Yeoman and observer Lieut Philip P Brennan both from St Louis died after the aircraft encountered a severe storm.

Probe Begun Into Death Of Butte Resident
County authorities launched an extensive inquiry into the death of 58 year old miner No vak Millichich of Butte. An autopsy was held and stomach contents sent for analysis to determine if poisoning caused the collapse near his East Woolman street home Monday evening. Millichich died at a local hospital after being rushed there by police ambulance. Investigators planned to question several persons as part of the county attorney’s probe.

School Board Approves Refunding Bond Issue Details
The District No. 1 school board moved a step closer to refunding its high school bonded debt totaling 199,683.23. Trustees adopted bond forms and denominations to take up the debt at a lower interest rate under county attorney instructions. Ninety-one bonds of 1000 each, nine of 900, and one of 583.23. First redemption on August 16, 1932, then annually until paid. 1000 bonds paid first. A motion to buy 14 typewriters for the commercial department at Butte high was referred after debate. The board also receded from its prior stance on key distribution in grade schools.
