Christine Lund 82 widow of Charles Lund longtime Anaconda resident died Tuesday morning at St Ann hospital after a week as patient. Born in Wermland Sweden she came to the United States in 1890s and settled in Anaconda the same year. Surviving children in law three sons in law and wives reside in Maztro Anaconda San Diego and La Jolla. A brother Nels Gustafson and sister Mena Eylekson of Seattle also survive with four grandchildren. Body at Kendrick funeral home.

War Veteran Dies at Fort Harrison
Helena report states Joan Watson Hughes age 84 World War I veteran died at Fort Morrison Veterans hospital Monday night. Hughes served in 1918 Army and worked as a Northern Pacific bridge carpenter until retirement in 1941. Relatives include his widow Raith and one son and a daughter.

Missoula Man Dies When Truck Is Hit by Train
Missoula resident Francis Charles Norling, 44, died instantly when the creamery delivery truck he drove was struck by a westbound Milwaukee freight locomotive at a crossing in the Missoula suburbs. The accident occurred at 7:29 AM, with the train traveling about 25 miles per hour. Coroner L H Livingston has not decided on an inquest. Norling is survived by his widow and a daughter.
