Nick Yelaca filed suit in district court against the Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific Railway seeking 20000 dollars as administrator of the estate of his 1 year old son Nick Yelaca Jr who was fatally injured on a Rocker railroad bridge September 1 1929. The suit charges negligence by the engineeer and seeks damages for the loss of the boy and potential earnings.
Thieves entered the Rodman Auto company office on South Montana street early yesterday and broke the safe. The police report says the combination box was broken and small checks were missing as investigators work the case.

He was released on his own recognizance pending a justice court hearing. Pugsley of Seattle, naturalization examiner for the government, arrived yesterday to examine 24 aliens petitioning for citizenship. Citizens who served with American forces in World War I may secure papers by appearing in court on the 20th with two witnesses and their army discharge papers.
Hattie S. Marling, who won a decree of separate maintenance from Jack Marling on June 27, 1929, seeks citation to show cause why he has not paid $200 in alimony arrears. She alleges he earned large sums in the liquor trade and missed August and September payments of $100 each. citation likely next week in district court.
