George W. Noyes, a long time Butte resident since 1879, died Wednesday afternoon at his Clark hotel apartments. Born in Cushing Quebec, he mined placer gold before joining W A Clark in the Butte Electric Railway office for 35 years. He belonged to Silver Bow lodge 48 A F and A M Scottish Rite Bagdad Shrine Butte Chapter O E S and Butte lodge 240 BPOE. Survived by brother Ben H Noyes Cushing Canada and sister Ida M Douglas Montreal Canada.
