Kiwanis members marked Constitution Day led by Dr. F A Thomson and T J Davis. Dee J McGonigle opened the meeting as Curtis Lees led patriotic singing. Davis announced talks on KGIR and three successive addresses by C R Leonard and J A Poore. They discussed the constitution and its provisions amid noted lack of public understanding.

A rare comedy and Movietone News Events complete the program. Miss Margaret Harris leaves by the Olympian for Dubuque to attend college.
Funeral services with full military honors were held for T. J. McAuliffe a Spanish American War veteran at St John s church. Requiem high mass conducted by Rev Father O Bhra with United Spanish War Veterans in attendance. Burial followed in the cemetery with last rites at the graveside by Father Leonard. Pallbearers included M J McDonoll George Seebee Cae Gardner and others. Taps were sounded by a veterans firing squad.
Mrs Mary McDonell 58 of Butte died yesterday at her home 1517 North Main Street after a long illness. The body remains at the funeral home then to the sister Mrs Pullum 23 Bennetts Avenue. Funeral services will be Friday at St Lawrence's church with a requiem high mass at 9 30. Interment at St Patrick's Cemetery.

Last rites for Emil Hohendorff of Butte were held yesterday afternoon at Sherman & Reed funeral home with Rev. M. D. Huddl... officiating. A large gathering attended the service. Interment followed at Mountain View cemetery. Pallbearers included John Cabry, Mike Connelly, Ed Hannigan, Bob Devine, Bob Dragon and Pete Piskolich.
Mrs J Cummins and Mrs R Donaldson hosted a Wednesday afternoon Faithful Workers club gathering in the Silver Bow Park M E church parlors. Plans were laid for a home cooked food sale and the group enjoyed needlework and sociability with refreshments. Guests included Mrs Nick Parken Mrs Kennedy the Misses Marie Wagner Evelyn Clara Smith and Pamela Jenkins. John Caleut confined at home 123 Thornton Avenue with a fractured knee from a horseback ride. Jack Goforth bought the Windsor home. Mrs Sophie Dukyers and her children drove Sunday to Mammoth Mou.
The Silver Bow Park M E church committee meeting at Mrs Ed Sara’s home with Rev Morrison presiding outlined a series of church night entertainments by month. Halloween events in October and programs in November were announced along with guest visits and social gatherings at St Ann’s parish card nights and whist with music.
