In Memphis Tennessee a 14 month old girl named Karen died after her head became trapped in a car window while her parents Billy and Mrs Graham watched a drive in movie. Police said the child apparently climbed on a pillow and put her head out the window. the pillow slipped and she was strangled.

Donald Oakie world famed bridge expert will lecture in Butte at 8 p.m. in the Montana Power Auditorium on Tuesday Sept 27. Everett Reed chairman of the Butte unit of the American Contract Bridge League announced the appearance. Augusta Woman Kills Big Moose at Red Rock Lake
Mrs Richard Mosher of Augusta shot a big moose at Red Rock Lake bird refuge near Monida. It was her first moose after prior elk and deer kills.
