In Nogales Sonora Mexico during a motorcycle race a rider was thrown from his machine and it tore into a crowd. Two persons were killed and six injured, some seriously, with Alfredo Salazar of Altar Sonora believed fatally hurt.

The new group will oversee flexible provisions of the tariff bill and correct inequalities in the legislation. He plans to confer with Henry P. A sequence of crashes in Butte left ten cars damaged. Dr A Lewers suffered head and back injuries after a vehicle struck him on West Park Street. Tom McGrath of 901 North Main Street was arrested for reckless driving after the incident and treated at St James Hospital.
Chicago report allege Moran gang members used a young woman to lure Jack Costa to a courtyard killing near Sheridan and Irving Park. Costa, tied to Moran beer outlets, was shot as he crossed the apartment courtyard. Police say circumstantial evidence points to the intersection as the scene. Margaret Reardon, 23, denied involvement repeatedly to Captain Hugh McCarthy.
