James Mayes a 30 year old resident of 2224 Gaylord Street suffered a head cut and possible additional injuries when a bulldozer he was operating overturned into a 30 foot hole at the old Pittsmont slag dump in East Butte. He was admitted to Silver Bow General Hospital in good condition. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. as he worked to surface slag used for roadways. the bulldozer was recovered.
