Lost aviator subsists on berries for two weeks
C F Mews, pilot for Northern Aerial Mineral Exploration, was rescued in Manitoba after two weeks living on berries in the wild backwoods near Oxford Lake. Stranded since August 24 due to motor trouble, he was found by a fellow pilot and brought to safety as trackers and settlers had given up hope. News spread only after couriers carried the report.

Engineers Open Meeting Today at Anaconda Mine
