Sheehan marks 50 years behind bar with stories memories

Jim Sheehan began in August 1973 as a bartender at the Acoma Lounge & Supper Club, joining after years as a dishwasher and busboy. Now at Hops Pub & Casino in Butte, he recalls steady, mostly calm decades, rowdy moments, and a dog’s gin gimlet tale, as he nears half a century in the business.
