Chester Gibson of Butte was stabbed with a butcher knife at his home and hospitalized at St. James with a large lower abdominal wound. Shell Explodes Injuring Children in Hot Springs Yard
A three percent millimeter shell used as a doorstop exploded when 15 year old Doyle Cox dropped it in his yard. Aerial Tourists In Great Falls Take to Montana Skies
Eighty privately owned planes carrying 180 persons landed at Gore field in Great Falls on the second day of Montana pilots association first annual air tour. Fifty-one planes left Bozeman Saturday with others joining at Butte Hamilton Missawa Flathead county Chateau and Cut Bank. Wind averaging 45 mph delayed half the planes from Lewistown, the next night stop.

4-H Club Takes Part in Fair
The six Big Hole basin 4-H club members exhibited their baby beef at the Junior fair in Deer Lodge from Friday through Monday. Five contestants won red ribbons and one won a white. Mike Shirley Anderson earned $5 for leadership in 4-H club activities, and Miss Jewell Dean Anderson won a trip to the state college at Bozeman for a demonstration contest. The group also contributed a Blackface Skit to the dress show at the Orpheum theater Friday evening. Man Is Arrested On Assault Charge
Police officers Lyden and Mooney arrested a man named Paul Garcia, 132 West Copper, on assault charges after he allegedly beat his wife Parnells Garcia near their home at about 7 pm Sunday.
