George Robson winner of the 500 mile Indianapolis race and George Barringer of Indianapolis were killed in a spectacular Lakewood park accident on Monday. Three or four others were injured among 11 starters in the 100 mile event on the one mile track as cars piled into dust and wreckage. Ted Horne, who finished third in the Indianapolis race, described the moment the track was blocked and his efforts to warn others as the crash unfolded.
