The twenty fifth wedding anniversary of Mr and Mrs Alex Blewett was celebrated with a family reunion at their home 1533 Harrison Avenue. They married September 2 1905 at Mountain View M E church with Rev Charles Bovard officiating. Blewett has been cashier of the Butte Electric Railway for 27 years. Mrs Blewett is formerly Miss Ethel Brown. Attending were Wesley Blewett and son John Adelle Hanratty and daughter Claire Alex Blewett Jr Lois Blewett and guests of honor.

Man Fatally Shot in Hunting Mishap at Shelton
Elmer Baxter aged 70 died after being mistaken for a deer when neighbor Richard Snodgrass fired through underbrush in the woods. Baxter, a farmer and former Kentucky railroad man, left a widow and seven children. Authorities called the shooting accidental as deer season neared.

Murder mystery as three bodies are identified as embalmed specimens
In St Helena California a ranch 18 miles north yielded three dismembered bodies found in a shallow grave. Dr Herbert L Byrd of San Francisco said they were embalmed dissection subjects from a medical school and were legally obtained for experiments. He buried the bones after leaving the ranch. Frank Marshall found the bones while hunting a buried water meter.
