The Women’s Benefit Assn Walkerville Review 23 held its annual installation dinner at Lydia’s with 32 members and guests. Mrs Willene Jennings received a gift as president and Mrs Cleye Hancock presided, with Mrs Ruby Pengelly as captain. Dutch whist prizes were awarded and a list of attendees includes Mrs Jennings, Lola Venner, June Duhame, Mrs Hancock, Virginia Tippett, Margaret Attfield, Mollie Richard and others. guests included Alice Cassell, Viola O’Brien, Elsie Wautzman, Rose Henline and Mrs Cummings.

St. John Home School Association met in the school all purpose room with Mrs. Nick Rotering presiding. Sister Mary Francesca's fifth grade class performed a gymnastics exhibition under Bert Van Meel and won the attendance prize. Refreshments were provided by fourth grade mothers to a crowd over 100.
