Federal Judge George M. Bourquin presided over a winter term in which 93 residents from Butte Anaconda Lima Dell Virginia City and nearby areas appeared. By noon 63 had pleaded guilty with 60 receiving fines from 1 dollar up to a 250 dollar penalty and two defendants each. Five bonds were forfeited and 30 others were ordered back for trials as the term nears a temporary close. The judge will depart for Idaho to preside at a forthcoming term and civil actions and several criminal cases are set for December 15 and 19. The government collected about 7122 in fines with others facing jail sentences.

Two youths wounded as shotgun fired at Logan pranksters
