A lengthy parade from the courthouse to the Soldiers Monument in Veterans Park drew hundreds under ideal weather as services were held at the USS Maine capstan and Arlington ceremonies echoed abroad.

80 Year Old Woman to Sail Dunkirk Evacuation Commemoration

Butte High to Honor MSC President as Commencement Speaker
Butte High School will award diplomas June 3 at the Civic Center with Dr. Leon H. Johnson, president of Montana State College, delivering the keynote address. Principal Forrest Wilson noted the 498 graduates set a school record for the class. Johnson, a former Minnesotan, joined MSC in 19 and became president in February 1964.
