A 30-year-old beauty studio operator was tied and assaulted during a daylight robbery at Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio in the Rialto Building Butte. Two youths, one armed with a switchblade, stole about 170 dollars including rings and jewelry from Jane O'Leary and fled after threatening her. Police searched the block but saw only a single vague sighting. descriptions fit a dark complexioned older man about 5 feet 7 and a younger, pale 16 or 17 with blue eyes and odd voice.
