Pioneer Matron of Montana Dead at Bozeman
Mrs. Harriet A. Mardis 86 a Montana pioneer who crossed the plains in 1864 with her husband James W. Mardis died Thursday night at her Bozeman home on Willison avenue. Funeral plans await word from son John Mardis of Butte and son in law J H Holliday of Clyde Park as burial is set for Bunset Hills Cemetery. She survives two daughters Mrs Abbie Burns and Mrs J others are listed in the continuation.
