Two Northern Pacific Railroad workers from Butte were injured Sunday night by falling rock while clearing a large rock slide near Homestake ten miles east of Butte. Milton Brunson and Guadalupe Sepulveda were treated at St James Hospital in good condition.

Five Killed in Iowa Farmhouse Slaying by Relatives
The McBeth family of Hayesville Iowa was found shot to death with six month old infant spared. Suspect Gayne Gilbert Smith 24, nephew and farm hand, fled in a car and led officers on a chase toward Unionville. The killer used a combined over under weapon, then tried to erase evidence by cleaning the house and removing fuses.

Two Die In Montana Highway Crashes Nineteen Sixty Two Toll Rises
UPI reports Everett Garr 32 of Billings died in a one car crash on U S Highway 10 ninety two miles east of Billings. Kevin Hunt 36 of Billings was injured. Highway Patrolman Don Bickford notes car left shoulder in a curve. The Montana toll reaches 70 for 1962. Browning sees Kenneth Running Rabbit 9 killed when struck by Gary Shelmerdine 18 on U S 89 nine miles south. Rabbit died after being hit while running toward home. Coroner William Riddle calls it an unavoidable accident. The Montana toll climbs to 69.

Charles Gordon of 1742 Harrison, longtime Montana Hide and Metal Co. operator, died Sunday in a local hospital after retiring in 1959. Born in New Jersey, he moved to Butte in 1907, married Jeannette Stoll in 1925, and was active in B Nai Brith and Adath Israel. Survivors include his wife, two sons, a brother and sisters, and grandchildren. Rites set for 2:45 Tuesday at White's Funeral Home with Rabbi Max Kerr. burial in B Nai Israel Cemetery.
