Uptown Butte pushes to create a business improvement district
Organizers in Uptown Butte outlining a plan for a 30 block BID with four informational meetings next week and door to door outreach. They seek signatures from owners controlling over 60 percent of parcels to obtain council authorization perhaps in August. The district would fund upgrades via a mix of assessments totaling about 200k to 215k yearly.
