Butte officers hunted six inmates who cut through a metal cover over an escape hole in the Beaverhead county jail. Undersheriff Berry said the escape was discovered this afternoon after breakfast left untouched. The men were E. R. Mangus A. A. Mangus Ernest Cook Claude Vance Norval Lathrop and J. E. Henderson, all awaiting burglary trials.
