Federal agents uncovered the largest U S. still found in the United States with a capacity of 103000 gallons and 80000 gallons of high grade alcohol at an abandoned brewery in New York. The site covered a square block and contained eight 60 foot rectifying tanks 28 trucks a four ton steel door and equipment valued at 750000 dollars. The operation appeared ready for bottling packing and rapid dispatch to trucks.
