Sailor John Howard 21 of Billings Montana appeared in New London Connecticut police court charged with fatally injuring John F Breihaupt 30 in a Groton sidewalk brawl. Montana Prison May Move Site With Federal Aid
The Montana Prison could be moved to the present farm property with federal aid for planning. The Prison Subcommittee advised the Board of Prison Commissioners to hire a top prison architect to draft a long range plan building by building. The plan would use Federal Housing Agency financing for the planning phase with reimbursement at construction. Further study on medical and educational facilities remains, and a 22 member MSU study group is involved.

Lloyd Schulz, 26, Park County rancher, drowned while crossing the swollen Yellowstone River to check cattle south of Livingston. His horse stumbled, swept him away. his body was found a quarter mile downstream. Survived by widow Roberta, a son Rodney, his parents, and three Livingston sisters. It was the year's 12th Montana accidental drowning and the fifth in May.

Bids Set Tonight for Immaculate Conception School Upgrade
The Immaculate Conception Parish will open bids Wednesday night for a $300,000 modernization of the old school and a new one story four classroom addition at Caledonia and Western Streets.
