Baby dies from dresser impact after family dog startles babysitter
Two month old Betty Jean Christmann died from a brain hemorrhage after a household accident. Coroner Leo Jacobsen said the death occurred when the babysitter was carrying the baby and the family dog frightened, tripping her, causing the head to strike a dresser. The babysitter was John Riley at 110 N Excelsior. Funeral services are pending.

Cow births rare triplets in Colorado farm record

Gust Marinos 79 of 723 W Park, longtime Butte businessman and civic leader, died Monday in a local hospital. Services at Saya tovic-White's Funeral Home pending. Born in Greece January 20, 1890, he came to the United States in 1910, lived in St. Louis before moving to Butte in 1911, worked as a clothing salesman, partnered in Murphy Money Back in 1918, and rose in local retail.
