First aid contests long popular with Butte miners and Anaconda Copper Mining employees will resume after a five year war gap. On Miners Union day June 13 at Columbia Gardens teams will compete from 1 to 2 30 p m before public speaking events. Prizes total 840 dollars with 300 to first and 150 to second and 90 to third, plus 30 to many others.

The Soldiers Plaque in Butte Memorial Park will be dedicated Sunday May 25 at 1 30 PM honoring Butte High School students and alumni who served in World War II.
