Fire destroys home near Blackfoot killing 82-year-old man
Deer Lodge May 15 Special James M. Allen aged 82 perished in a fire that consumed his home barn and nearby buildings in old Blackfoot City Powell county near Avon. Mrs Allen discovered the blaze at 6 40 p m and attempted to rescue her husband but the flames and heat prevented aid. The body was reduced to ashes.

Arbor Day Openings at Columbia Gardens for Harrison School
