A 20 year old cook described as long haired and sandal wearing was tarred and feathered by about 30 men from a truck parade backing U S forces in Vietnam. Police intervened as the mob struck the youth and a patrolman, then Brady was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital with facial injuries.
