Tyler of Chicago, meat authority for the National Live Stock and Meat Board, predicted higher meat supplies for 1947 with first quarter output at 4.172 billion pounds compared to 3.979 billion in early 1946. Attempt to Kill Son Is Charged
Bozeman, May 12. A 23-year-old Bozeman carpenter's apprentice, John M. Hill, was charged by information with assault in the first degree for allegedly attempting to kill his three-month-old son. He is held in county jail on $3,000 bond and arraigned before District Judge Harry A. Bolinger, who granted time to hire counsel. The baby has been hospitalized since May 7 after doctors examined the child.
