Gladstone and Tatsey-Murray Speak at UM Commencement
Lily Gladstone and Carol Tatsey-Murray received honorary doctorates as about 1,600 University of Montana graduates were urged to embrace the unknown and serve their communities. Gladstone highlighted her Blackfeet roots and historical Golden Globes win while addressing students at the Adams Center. President Seth Bodnar noted pandemic challenges but praised graduates’ resilience and urged leadership for global problems. Kal Aksamit joined UM in 2020 and found community in study groups.
